Watching my thoughts

Something happened a couple of days ago. Something that had not happened for a very very long time in my life, inside me. Since the time of certain realisations, I've been very careful about my words, actions, and reactions, which mostly happened because of my acquired awareness. But the realisations didn't lead to permanent awareness, though it did expose me to the power of awareness. More than situations in life it were the people who helped me in those realisations which in turn led me to awareness. Though this stage of existence was interesting, with an additional sense of power over the self, there were moments when I slipped. But those slips were not with strangers, but mostly with people I knew very very well or with whom the comfort level was so high that my awareness guard went down. But had no regrets with that. Now comes the transformation phase in the  ego's playfield - the mind. The slow realisation started getting into my head and that became one of the pa...

did I lose it 22 years or a little further ago?

We didn't realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.   - Unknown The following texts are a combination of part reality, part fiction and mostly pure imagination - the Mungeri lal ke haseen sapne types. Readers' discretion recommended. November - 22 2016 I was watching this video - a tutorial to play Ludovico Einaudi's famous I giorni on my mobile device's youtube app, immersed in peace when suddenly at around 9:45PM, Whatsapp notification pops up mentioning that " SPG " had messaged me or something. " SPG " had not pinged me lately or rather quite sometime and we had lost contact with each other since almost 3 years. I opened the application and I see that I've been added to a group "KV Sulur Buddies" in Whataspp. And suddenly I see some familiar names whom I hadn't been in touch with for almost a decade or more. The group members' list was interesting. The messages were being posted by " ...

Vibes - or is it energy?

There are multiple types of energies that works on us. Most of them are due to entities surrounding us. Entities like people, materials that we posses, materials that we use which we may not posses. When one starts closely observing the change in the pattern of the thought process, the way we act, the way we behave, we tend to find a strange relationship between the external entities and the state of the self within, which may be mental or physical. It's kind of complicated to express, or rather understand, but the patterns are definitely visible. This is probably a curse for people with strong memory, for people who wish they did not have this memory which is like engraved on a stone.  Let me try to put it this way. We meet many people in our daily life and every one of them come with a particular type of vibe. I am not sure what this vibe exactly is, but for my understanding purposes I term it as energy. Once someone comes in our energy field or we enter their energy range, we...

The Journey Backwards

Been 8 years I had seriously blogged, and this time again its almost the same environment - Yanni's soothing "In the morning light" and the ambiance. For the absolute impatient 2500 KM, 8 days, 3 states, 1 UT Through Roads, no-roads, Ghats, waterfalls, Jungle, villages, cities Touching the village I was born Meeting some wonderful people Attending a friend's wedding  With an uncompromising confidence on my baby who took me places back home, sweet home with my mind in peace. Living moments. END - rest is very boring for you. For the impatient Read only the non-italic texts. For nothing else to dos....   Sharing no longer seems to be a priority for me unless it's got some strong and motivating agenda, like my support for Modi and spreading awareness about the ill-happenings in my country. But since the elections are over, I've practically nothing to do on internet and thats when my mind started wandering again and my hands started to itch ...

Pataleshwar Caves - Pune

Searching for "Pateleshwar" pronounced as it is made it virtually impossible to locate the place. I went to visit the caves and went round and round a couple of times before I finally spotted the location. The best landmark is the Jangli Maharaj temple just adjacent to the cave. Couldn't believe that there would be such a beautiful cave in the midst of the now-so-called concrete city - Pune. If you are looking for the location, just ask for the Jangli Maharaj temple , another landmark is the Honda showroom and Standard Charted Bank on the opposite side of the road. There are no specific markings or indications near the place, only a small gate. We reached at around 17:30 hrs and it was cloudy. Was wishing it wouldn't rain and the climate did support that day. The entrance leads to a descend and one gets to see the " Circular Nandi Mandapa ". On the way, on both the sides there were some people sitting mostly senior citizens appeared to be more like regul...

My life in Flickr world

its very funny sometimes when one realises how his life has changed in the past few months. Like my life did after I joined flickr approximately an year back. I was looking for photographer on orkut and I got in touch with Mohith last year and asked him few questions on capturing photos during rainy seasons as I loved one of his photos very much. He encouraged me to get logged in to flick and then started my journey in Flickr. Initial days was just ok as I used flickr to share my photos. Slowly realised there were some groups and I could share my photos there too and get some feedbacks. Then started the saga for waiting for comments. Trust me.. I just love it when somebody gives me a comment. Through orkut itself I got in touch with a wonderful person. Her name is Rathika, and shes known in orkut world as Radzzz and I call her with the same name. I was zapped when I saw the photographs she had captured. She seemed to be completely into wildlife photography. Again, I asked her some tips...
